Effective Date: January 1, 2026

1. Purpose

This policy describes how ATLAS addresses reports of fraudulent publicly advertised job postings in
accordance with the Employment Standards Act, 2000 (Ontario), as amended by the Working for Workers
Seven Act, 2025 (Bill 30).
ATLAS maintains this policy and a reporting mechanism to help protect job seekers and to comply with its
obligations as a job-posting platform operator under Ontario law.

2. Scope and Definitions

Publicly Advertised Job Posting: A job posting that is accessible to the general public and
advertises a specific employment opportunity through the ATLAS platform.
Fraudulent Job Posting: A job posting that appears to be misleading, deceptive, or intended to scam
job seekers, including postings that misrepresent the employer, the position, compensation, or the
application process, or that improperly seek money or sensitive personal information.

3. Reporting Fraudulent Job Postings

Any user who believes a job posting on ATLAS may be fraudulent may report it by email to:
[email protected]
Reports should include, where possible:
● The job posting title
● The name of the organization that posted the job
● A link, reference number, or other identifier for the posting
● A brief description of the concern
This reporting mechanism is available to all users and is displayed in a conspicuous location on the
ATLAS platform.

4. Review and Response Process

Upon receiving a report of a suspected fraudulent job posting, ATLAS will:
1. Acknowledge Receipt
Confirm receipt of the report within a reasonable time.
2. Conduct a Review
Assess whether there are reasonable grounds to believe the posting may be fraudulent.
3. Take Appropriate Action
Where warranted, ATLAS may remove the posting from public view, restrict access to it, or take
other action consistent with its platform policies and terms of service.
4. Engage the Posting Organization
ATLAS may, where appropriate, contact the organization that submitted the posting to seek
clarification or verification.
ATLAS’s actions are intended to address potential harm to job seekers and to comply with applicable
legal obligations.

5. Record Keeping

ATLAS maintains records of reported fraudulent job postings and actions taken in response for a
reasonable period, including as required under applicable Ontario employment standards legislation and
regulations.

6. Display of This Policy

This policy and the reporting mechanism described above are made available and displayed on the
ATLAS platform, as required by Ontario law.

7. Role of ATLAS as a Technology Provider

ATLAS provides a software-as-a-service (SaaS) technology platform that enables organizations to create,
manage, and publish job postings.
Job postings displayed on the ATLAS platform are submitted and controlled by the organizations that post
them. ATLAS does not act as the employer, recruiter, or hiring entity, and does not independently verify
the accuracy, legitimacy, or completeness of job postings prior to publication.
Consistent with its obligations under the Employment Standards Act, 2000 (Ontario), ATLAS
maintains a mechanism for reporting suspected fraudulent publicly advertised job postings and
takes appropriate action when such postings are reported or identified.

8. No Limitation of Other Rights

Nothing in this policy limits ATLAS’s rights under its Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, or
applicable law, including the right to remove job postings or restrict platform access where fraud
or misuse is suspected.
